T & Cs – Refund Policy

T&C’s

  1. Definitions: The company, we, our, us means Simply Cabs Ltd.
  2. Agreement: When you book a job with us you agree with our terms and conditions for using our service and our tariff.
  3. Quotes: All quotes where given are approximate. We operate a fixed rate for journeys and all quotes are according to mileage, time, out of pocket expenditure, type of car and service required.
  4. Charges: most of journeys are quoted via the shortest route and/or a fixed price. Any change of circumstances like extra drop or pick up or change of route requested by customer will incur different charge.
  5. Waiting Time: Where a driver has to wait beyond the required time booked, customer is liable for waiting time whether accidental or out of customer control.
  6. Airport Pick ups: We pick up from outside and inside terminals.
    • For outside pick up there is no charge for flight delays as we monitor planes landing time. Driver will call to arrange meeting the customer and by the time customer is out driver will be waiting outside.
    • For inside pickup driver will have a sign board with customer name on it. Extra £10 and car park charge will be added on original price which give 30 minutes waiting for free.
  7. Bookings:
    • Bookings must be made through the office and not with driver. It is illegal for a driver to pick up without job being pre booked by email or phoning the office.
    • For a booking to be completed full postal address including post code telephone number preferably mobile full name and destination address and pick up time is required.
  8. Cancellation: For online bookings cancellation should be made 4 hours prior to the time of booking.
    • There is normally no charge for cancelling a booking if driver is not dispatched at the time of cancellation.
    • If cancellation made after dispatching driver customer will be liable for cancellation fee and cost of driver mileage and any other expenditure occurred for the journey.

 

  1. Damages: The Company is not responsible for any damage caused during loading or uploading passenger belongings. In the case of any damage sustained to the company’s property or vehicles by customer however, customer will be liable for all costs. These include damage repair, vehicle cleaning, and company’s loss of earning.
  2. Lost Property: The Company shall not be liable for any property left in a vehicle provided to a customer.
    • Any item found will be held in the company’s office and every effort will be made to return the item to the customer.
    • Any property returned to customer will be chargeable except collected from company’s office.

 

  1. Accounts: The Client undertakes to pay the invoices within the time specified on the invoice.
  2. Right of Refusal: The Company reserves the right to refuse to carry any passenger or object that the company deems to be likely to cause the driver or his vehicle any damage.
  3. Data Protection: All of our clients are assured that their details are kept confidential and only authorized persons are allowed to get access to their details for booking or invoicing purposes.

Refund Policy

Our refund policy is adopted by all clients of Simply Cabs Ltd and will apply to all private hire vehicles  as arranged on the customers behalf through Simply Cabs Ltd.

  1. Web Bookings:– We will send the vehicle to meet you at the main pre-defined pick up points, subject to the aircraft arriving on schedule at the time specified on your booking form. The time you specified will be sent to the driver for reference, through the client of Simply Cabs Ltd. The charge for the waiting time will be decided by clients Simply Cabs  Ltd, by reference and consultation with Simply Cabs Ltd, and will depend on the type of vehicle being used for the particular journey. Such queries should be made at the time of booking so as to avoid any subsequent disagreements.
  2. Telephone bookings:– After the flight has landed we allow 45 minutes free of charge for you to collect your baggage and make your way to the pre-defined pick up point to meet the driver. The charge for waiting time after the 45 minutes will be decided by Simply Cabs Ltd, by reference and consultation with Simply Cabs Ltd, and will depend on the type of vehicle being used for the particular journey. Such queries should be made at the time of booking so as to avoid any subsequent disagreements.
  3. Fixed price journeys must not deviate from the drivers chosen route, any deviation will result in the journey reverting to a fare decided by consultation with Simply Cabs Ltd, such consultation will occur with Simply Cabs Ltd and their client. Simply Cabs Ltd will decide the charge with their clients according to the additional mileage and delay caused by the passenger or by the prevailing traffic conditions.
  4. Simply Cabs Ltd and their clients cannot be held responsible for any loss financial, professional, missed connection times, flights, trains due to the private hire vehicles not arriving at the pick-up address at the pre booked time due to adverse weather, traffic conditions, road traffic accidents or road closures or being given the wrong booking information by the customer or if customer booked it online and got the booking reference but did not receive any confirmation from Simply Cabs Ltd
  5. There will be no charge made to the customer credit/debit card for any journey cancelled with more than 24 hours notice prior to the original booked time.
  6. Any journey booked where the passenger is unobtainable 30 minutes after the booked time will result in a charge to the customer’s credit/debit card. The amount to be charged in such a situation will be decided depending on the pickup distance/parking or other charges subject to a minimum of £20.00.
  7. Journeys booked from airports, train stations and seaports the onus is on the passenger to locate the private hire vehicle driver and not the private hire vehicle driver to find the passenger, on booking any such journey we will give a definite pick up point that the passenger must locate, any failure on the passengers part to locate the private hire vehicle driver will result in a charge to the customer’s credit/debit card. The amount to be charged in such a situation will be decided by Simply Cabs Ltd in consultation with its clients depending on the pickup distance/parking or other charges subject to a minimum of £20.00.
  8. Any fouling of the private hire vehicle by any passenger will result in a charge of a minimum of £20.00, depending on the severity of the fouling.
  9. Simply Cabs Ltd (on behalf of its client and subsequent driver) will prosecute any person who causes damage to any private hire vehicle booked through or arranged through Simply Cabs Ltd.
  10. The driver has the right to refuse any passenger that he feels may be a threat to him/herself or vehicle.
